LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®

LSP has evolved based on extensive and proven research within a variety of different fields, including organisational development, psychology, learning and business development. Firmly founded on the scientific concept of ‘hand’ knowledge it was developed by Robert Rasmussen and The Lego Foundation in 2002 and has since proved of enormous practical benefit to corporations, such as Google, Yahoo and British Airways in effectively moving forward people, teams, products and strategies.

LSP is based on a set of fundamental beliefs relating to leaders, teams and individuals within those teams.

 • Leaders never have all the answers. Success is dependent on them hearing all the voices in the room

 • It’s human nature to want to contribute, be part of something bigger and take ownership.

 • Allowing each member to contribute and speak out, results in more successful and sustainable business models.

 • All too often, teams work sub-optimally resulting in valuable team member knowledge remaining untapped.

 • We live in a world, best described as complex and adaptive.
